Embroidery Pricing Breakdown
Embroidery pricing is based on stitch count, location, size, and thread color. This guide breaks it all down so you understand what adds cost—and how to save when ordering embroidered products.
Decoration-Level Pricing
These factors affect the base cost of embroidery:
- Stitch Count: Larger logos = more stitches = higher cost. We quote based on stitch volume per location.
- Location: Each embroidered area (front, back, sleeve) adds cost. Front-only is base price.
- Thread Color: Embroidery is typically capped at 6 colors. More than that requires special handling and may increase cost.
What Doesn’t Affect Price
These won’t increase embroidery cost:
- Number of Items: Embroidery cost is per item, but quantity impacts discount—not the base price.
- Logo Complexity: Once simplified and digitized, we don’t charge extra for detail—just stitch count.
- Garment Color: Shirt or hat color has no effect on embroidery pricing.
Order-Level Discounts
Ordering more lowers your per-unit price:
- No MOQ: Order 1 if you want.
- Bulk Pricing Tiers: Automatic discounts are applied as you increase quantity. These apply in cart—no code required.
Account-Level Discounts
Long-term customers unlock better pricing:
- 365-Day Rolling Spend: Larger cumulative orders qualify for account-based discounts that apply storewide.
- Store Leveling: High-performing or fundraising stores unlock additional pricing breaks across all embroidered goods.
