What Are Team Rosters?

Team Rosters allow you to save and manage individual apparel details, including sizes, names, numbers, aliases, and flags. Instead of entering the same information separately for every order, you can organize member details in a reusable roster.

Rosters are particularly useful when ordering personalized merchandise for esports players, coaches, and tournament participants.

Saved rosters can be reused when preparing additional products and orders, reducing repeated data entry and helping maintain consistent personalization.

How Team Rosters Work

  1. Create Your Roster: Enter the individuals included in your order along with their sizes and applicable personalization details.
  2. Save Your Information: Keep the roster available for future products and repeat orders.
  3. Prepare Your Design: Use the Online Designer to configure the personalization elements that should appear on the garment.
  4. Apply Your Roster: Use the saved roster with a compatible product to populate the corresponding personalization fields.
  5. Review and Adjust: Check each person's size, name, number, and other applicable details before ordering.

You can edit saved roster information as membership and apparel requirements change. Review existing carts and designs separately to confirm they reflect the intended information before checkout.

How Roster Personalization Works

Roster personalization is connected to the assets included in your product design. The available personalization fields depend on which corresponding elements have been added in the Online Designer.

For example, adding a Name asset through Add Text makes the corresponding name field available in the roster. The same principle applies to other supported personalization elements, including numbers, aliases, and flags.

Common personalization placeholders include:

  • NAME: Represents a personalized name.
  • ALIAS: Represents an alternate name or alias, such as a gamer tag.
  • 00: Represents a personalized number.
  • ?flag?: Represents a flag personalization element.

These placeholders identify where the corresponding personalized information will appear in the design. They are not intended to print as literal placeholder text.

Important: If a personalization field is missing from your roster, check that the corresponding personalization asset has been added to your design.

Managing Roster Details

Saved rosters help keep member information together while allowing different products to use the personalization elements supported by their designs.

Sizes and Quantities

Maintain the applicable garment size for each member and review quantities when preparing an order.

Names, Numbers, and Aliases

Use roster information to personalize garments with individual names, player numbers, or aliases when the corresponding assets are included in the design.

Optional Personalization

Not every garment needs every personalization field. For example, if a design includes a NAME asset but the name field is left blank for an individual, no name is printed for that person and the NAME placeholder is removed.

Review optional fields carefully so each garment includes only the personalization intended for its recipient.

Common Uses for Team Rosters

Esports Teams and Tournaments

Save gamer tags, player numbers, names, and sizes for esports jerseys, warmups, and tournament apparel.

Repeat Orders

Reuse saved information when purchasing additional apparel for an existing group, updating individual entries as needed.

Multiple Apparel Products

Use the same roster information across compatible products rather than recreating names, sizes, and other personalization details for each garment style.

Reviewing Rosters Before Ordering

Before submitting an order, confirm that all roster information matches the intended recipients and products.

  • Verify names, aliases, numbers, and spelling.
  • Confirm each individual's garment size and required quantity.
  • Check that the necessary personalization assets are included in the design.
  • Review blank personalization fields to ensure nothing intended for printing has been omitted.
  • Preview the finished design and verify personalization placement.
