Review the artwork requirements that help logos convert cleanly into embroidery, including file types, design complexity, thread colors, and minimum detail sizes.
Embroidery machines require artwork to be converted into a stitch map before production. This process is called digitizing. We handle digitizing for you, but the original artwork still needs to be suitable for embroidery.
Upload your logo in AI, SVG, or high-resolution PNG format. Vector artwork is preferred, but clean PNG files can also work. Avoid low-resolution JPG files and complex raster graphics that may be difficult to reproduce cleanly in stitches.
Thin lines, gradients, very small text, and fine details may not reproduce well in embroidery. Bold shapes, clear contrast, and simplified details generally produce better results.
Most embroidery designs use between 1 and 6 thread colors. Some shading or effects may need to be simplified during digitizing. Metallic or neon thread may require special handling.
Keep small text at least 0.25" tall and avoid design elements narrower than 1 point. Very small details may need to be simplified so they can be stitched clearly.
