Logo Preparation for Stores

Difference Between Store and Bulk Ordering Logos

First and foremost, the logo requirements for printing doesn't change. The core difference between stores and bulk ordering is the presentation of products. Store products will be published for your team or business to browse and shop. For this, it's critical for the logos to look great when placed on your product designs. With bulk ordering, the only parties that will see the mock up are you and Exclaim. In purchases through our online designer, we make all of the following adjustments and refinements ourselves.

Bad Logos

We highly recommend improving your logos prior to creating designs for your store.

  1. AI generated "logos"
  2. Highly illustrative
  3. Contains an illustrative, solid color or complex background
  4. Contains large backgrounds without logo cropping

Bare Minimum

You're probably safe to start creating designs for nearly all of our printed products. The goal is for the logo to look good on the product mock up. If it does, then you're safe.

  1. Good enough resolution
  2. Transparent background
  3. Enough logo cropping (padding) that doesn't interfere with product design
  4. Raster files (png, jpeg)
