Logo Requirements for Screen Printing
Want your logo to print clean and bold? This guide covers everything you need to know to prep your file for traditional screen printing—no blurry edges or unexpected surprises.
File Types
Upload your logo as AI, EPS, SVG, or high-res PNG. Vector files are ideal because they can be color separated easily and resized without losing quality.
Color Count & Separation
Each color in your logo requires its own screen. We recommend limiting your design to 1–4 colors for cost efficiency. If your file is not already color separated, we’ll help prep it for print.
Line Weight & Detail
Fine lines may not hold up in screen printing. Stick to strokes 1pt or thicker. Avoid overly detailed textures or gradients unless you're using halftones.
Text & Fonts
Convert all text to outlines before submitting your file. This ensures it prints exactly as designed, even if we don’t have your font installed.
Background Cleanup
Remove any unwanted backgrounds unless you want them printed. Logos should be on a transparent background or a solid shape if intentional.
