Product Update: Improved Shirt Sizing and Fit
We have updated the sizing and fit of our dye-sublimated shirts after identifying an issue with the circumference increases between sizes.
The previous sizing pattern did not add enough width as the shirts progressed into extended sizes. As a result, shirts in sizes 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, and 6XL were noticeably smaller than they should have been.
We have corrected the size progression and made two additional fit adjustments to improve comfort and overall wearability.
Corrected Plus-Size Circumference
Shirt sizing should increase proportionally as each size gets larger. Our previous pattern used circumference increments that were too small, causing the difference between consecutive sizes to become increasingly inadequate.
This issue was most noticeable in:
- 3XL
- 4XL
- 5XL
- 6XL
These sizes have now been widened to provide a more appropriate fit and a more consistent progression through the complete size range.
Increased Neck Drop
We also increased the neck drop, which places the front neckline slightly lower.
This adjustment creates a more comfortable neckline and reduces the likelihood that the collar will feel too high or restrictive when the shirt is worn.
Reduced Armhole Size
The armholes have been reduced to provide a cleaner and more secure fit around the underarm area.
The previous armhole opening could feel unnecessarily large or loose on some wearers. The revised shape is intended to improve the shirt's overall fit without restricting normal movement.
What This Means for Reorders
Shirts produced using the revised sizing pattern may fit differently from shirts purchased previously.
The difference will be most noticeable in sizes 3XL through 6XL, which will have more room through the body than earlier versions. Customers replacing or adding shirts to an existing order should review the current size chart rather than relying solely on the size of a previously purchased garment.
Because the pattern itself has changed, an older shirt and a newly produced shirt labeled as the same size may not have identical measurements.
