Before uploading your logo for DTF, make sure it’s set up right. This guide covers file types, resolution, color handling, and design tips for clean transfers.
Before uploading your logo, make sure it is prepared for DTF printing. This reference covers file types, resolution, transparency, color, effects, and text preparation.
Upload your logo as a PNG, SVG, AI, or PSD file. PNG is the most common option and should use a transparent background. Avoid low-resolution JPG files and screenshots, which may appear blurry when printed.
Your logo should be at least 150 DPI at its intended print size. Enlarging a small raster image does not improve its resolution and can result in visible pixelation.
DTF prints everything visible in the artwork. Use a transparent background unless a colored background or shape is intentionally part of the design.
DTF supports full-color artwork, including gradients and multi-color designs. Neon, metallic, and very light colors may reproduce differently than they appear on screen, so strong contrast generally produces more predictable results.
Flatten effects such as drop shadows, glows, blend modes, and filters into the artwork before uploading. Leaving these effects live may cause them to reproduce differently during processing or printing.
If your logo includes text, convert the text to outlines before uploading. This helps preserve the intended appearance and prevents font substitution during processing.
